Yes, we can customise your cabin to suit your needs including the colour of the exterior cladding/joinery and off grid options. Some changes may occur an additional cost.
Yes, all our cabins have triple-lined walls with R2.8 thick pink batt insulation. The roof is insulated with R5.6 thick pink batts. Floors are insulated with 100mm Poly R2.5 (Building code compliant).

All windows are double-glazed aluminium – thermal extra low E/clear.
Exemptions to the building Act that was introduced in August 2020, meaning a single-storey detached building up to 30 square metres, such as a sleep-out, or shed will now not require a council-approved building consent. However, this does not include bathrooms and kitchens.
We will guide you through the process from design, right through to the finished product (including an Architectural Design Certificate and a full set of building consent standard plans on request). All Shoreline Cabins with plumbing will be issued a Code Compliance Certificate (CCC). The CCC is a legally recognised document verifying that the building work complies with the New Zealand Building Regulations.
